Learning is Key

Self Guide

I recently just purchased this book “Kudalini Yoga Sadhana Guidelines: Create your Daily Spiritual Practice” by Yogi Bhajan. It is a manual written for self practitioners to learn the Kundalini way.

What is Kundalini Yoga?

Kundalini Yoga is the ultimate practice of self awareness. With the use of breathing techniques, mudras, eye focus, mantras, body locks, postures you are able to tap into your bodies energy to balance and bring peace upon your soul. Kundalini yoga derives from Hinduism but is not a religion, it is a daily practice to align your energies and experience your true potential. This method uses chakra, pranayama, kriya, mudra, and mantra types of meditation plus a lot more techniques. I will go through and break down the meanings and terminology of this practice within my experience of self awakening.

Yogi Bhajan is a prominent figure in Kundalini Yoga history. He brought the practice to the west in 1968. He has practiced yoga since the age of 8 by his spiritual guide Sant Hazara Singh. Which he deemed Bhajan the Master of Kundalini Yoga at the age of 16. Since then he went to college and studied economics and government systems. He has traveled to many countries where he taught the true practice of yoga, influenced politicians, and the world of higher consciousness. He created the 3HO foundation and has been a great spiritual leader for his practice. He has great lectures poems and videos where he shares his knowledge to humanity.
